6-foot-1, 215-pound frame. Mejdrich showed well Friday afternoon, picking up a complete game along with six strikeouts. Mejdrich operates through a high ¾ slot with a clean, long arm action that has some effort in it. Mejdrich has a high leg lift to go along with a drop and drive approach. Fastball sat low 80s while topping out at 83 mph with some arm-side-run. Mixed in a low 70s breaking ball that had sharp actions and a mid 70s changeup.
6-foot-1, 215-pound frame. Mejdrich impressed on the mound Friday, pitching a one-run complete game while striking out six. Mejdrich operates through a high ¾ slot with a clean, long arm action that has some effort in it. Mejdrich has a high leg lift and utilizes the mound for plane. Fastball sat low 80s, topping out at 84 mph while mixing in a sharp curveball that sat 69-72 mph.
2024 RHPs William Nazha (Barrington) and Luke Mejdrich (Hampshire) featured two of the better curveballs in attendance. Nazha’s curveball worked at 69-71 mph with sharp, tight spin (2491 average rpm), depth and action off an 11/5 plane with a chance to be a swing-and-miss offering moving forward. Nazha complimented his spin with a fastball that climbed up to 84 mph. Mejdrich has a strong, durable, 6-foot-1, 215-pound build and his 70-71 mph curveball featured similar tight, sharp action as Nazha’s. Mejdrich throws his curveball with conviction and arm speed averaging 2375 rpm while running his fastball up to 85.1 mph.

Mejdrich also has a strong frame, listed at 6-foot-1, 195 pounds, and he swings for hard, loud contact.
