RHP Michael Pasquesi (Highland Park, 2024) has touch and feel for a three-pitch mix and he toes the rubber at strong, physical 6-foot-2, 190-pounds. He’s a polished, in-line mover downhill that has performed in front of our staff in the past, most recently at The Rock, and he showed that at this event, too. Pasquesi pitched at 85-86 mph with his fastball, spun two different breaking balls around the zone, and killed both spin/lift on a firm upper-70s changeup with natural arm-side run (T17.4” HM).
Positional Profile: RHP/3B
Body: 6-2, 190-pounds.
Delivery: Short, simple, medium leg lift, drop/drive, leg-swing finish.
Arm Action: RH. Long, loose, low 3/4.
FB: T86, 85-86 mph. Life out of the hand with ride through the zone. T2261, 2201 average rpm.
CB: 72-73 mph. Slight cut to it, developing spin. T2111, 1975 average rpm.
SL: 74-76 mph. Tight downer movement, can locate in zone. T2147, 2056 average rpm.

Hit: RHH. Open setup, toe tap trigger, gains ground. Short and direct swing, flat path, line drives up the middle. 68.6 mph bat speed with 21 G’s of rotational acceleration.
Power: 91 max exit velocity, averaged 79.4 mph. 291’ max distance.
Arm: RH. INF - 82 mph. Long, 3/4 slot, throws show carry at times, accurate on the bag. Can change arm slots.
Defense: Sure-handed, two-hand gather, plays through the ball, smooth.
Run: 7.25 runner in the 60.
Pasquesi showed why he is among the top uncommitted RHP in the state’s ‘24 class. Athletic 6-foot-2, 180-pound frame that moves well on the mound. Clean operation on the mound with a balanced delivery and fluid arm-action. Fastball played 82-85, T86 mph with finish to get in-zone swings and misses. Threw a low-70s curveball with conviction to keep hitters guessing. Finished with 13Ks in a CG shutout.
Highland Park RHP Michael Pasquesi (2024) carries a large frame and arm at 6-foot-2, 190-pounds, and looks like there’s more in the tank. Pasquesi sat 85-87 with low effort that created some deceptive finish through the zone. Above average spin and action on his slider gives him two well above average offerings that should play well at the next level. Pasquesi also took a notable round of BP showing loose, strong hands, leverage to the pull-side and some sneaky jump off the barrel.

Body: 6-2, 190-pounds. Strong frame, long levers.
Hit: RHH. Open relaxed setup, fluid load and stride. Loose hands, creates leverage, long through the zone and easy effort throughout.
Power: 88 max exit velocity, averaged 81.6 mph. 272’ max distance.
Arm: RH. INF - 80 mph. Clean 3/4 slot, carry across the field.
Defense: Fluid actions, soft hands with a clean transfer, plays with some rhythm, range laterally.
Run: 7.52 runner in the 60.
Delivery: Clean repeatable delivery, works on-line and efficient, carries momentum down the hill.
Arm Action: RH. Arm is clean, relative ease out of high 3/4 slot.
FB: T87, 85-87 mph. Mostly straight, plays on-line with occasional carry through the zone. T2213, 2168 average rpm.
SL: 69-72 mph. 10/4 shape, above average action and spin. T2393, 2344 average rpm.
CH: 75-78 mph. Slight sink action. T2196, 2041 average rpm.
