The right-handed hitting catcher went 2-for-3 with a pair of singles and three RBIs. Showing a good two-strike approach, widening out, able to stay short and get the barrel to the ball to create production, with both singles coming in two-strike counts. A mature presence in the box with an understanding of how to produce with the bat. Now behind the plate, O’Malley shows his athleticism and strong arm, with throws working on a line, with a 2.15 pop at past events.
