Edmonson, who was a recent standout at the Northwest Suburban ID. Continues to showcase his impressive skill set. At the plate he went 3-for-4 with a double and a RBI against PTA south. Mechanically at the plate he utilized a toe tap and trigger with the hands. Looking to drive the ball into the gaps. Defensively he showed range to the glove side and in the hole at second base.
INF Tyler Edmondson (Oak Park-River Forest, 2026) had an all-around impressive day on Tuesday. A 5-foot-7, 151-pound frame, Edmondson has athleticism throughout, and started the event by running one of the day’s top 60 times (7.02). He’s a right-handed hitter at the plate and showed a fluid swing with pull-side power, posting a max exit velocity of 89.2 mph while sending his farthest hit ball 340 feet. His athleticism translated to his defensive workout, showing fluid footwork with soft hands and the ability to move both up the middle and to the backhand. He displayed a long, loose arm action that played from multiple slots, topping out at 81 mph across the diamond.

Projectable build and athletic frame, middle infielder Edmondson is a spark plug out of the two hole for Cangelosi. On Saturday, at the plate Edmondson went 2-for-3 with a run and two stolen bases. A two-tap leg kick and quick hands, Edmondson has an aggressive approach attacking pitchers' mistakes and finding barrels. Showcased his speed, beating out an infield single with ease.
