LHP/1B Zach Toma (West Aurora, 2026) came away one of the event’s biggest two-way winners. Coming off a huge spring, the physical left-handed hitter picked up where he left off in game one with a loud swing, driving a ball over the left/center wall for a home run. He finished the week 3-for-6 with the home run, three RBIs and a run scored. Toma then hopped on the mound and missed bats, recording three strikeouts in his two innings of work. The 6-foot-1, 191-pound southpaw sat 81-84 mph (T86) with his fastball that had late run to it, pairing that with a tight 71-73mph curveball. His changeup sat 73 mph and flashed fading action.
