Delivery: Quick gather with a medium stride into balance point, slight drop/drive lower-half, works in-line.
Arm Action: RH. Short arm with a higher back elbow from the glove, high 3/4 slot.
FB: T81, 77-80 mph. Life out of the hand, mostly straight action, feel around the zone. T2076, 2014 average rpm.
SL: 68-70 mph. Some feel glove side, 10/4 shape, quality shape and action. T1876, 1823 average rpm.
SPLT: 73-75 mph. Thrown with fastball intent, kept mostly down in the zone, slight run arm-side.
RHP/OF Ben McNair (Deerfield, 2029) would emerge as a name to follow as he enters high school. On the mound showed a deliberate delivery with a high leg lift and a short high 3/4s arm action. The fastball would sit 75-77 mph, getting up to 78 mph. Also showed a 63-66 mph slider with tight spin and a 68-70 mph splitter with late diving action. At the plate showed a quality right-handed swing with line-drive intent and some present feel for the barrel. Produced a max exit velocity of 86.5 mph with an average of 80.5 mph. Developing 5-foot-10, 150-pound frame with present athleticism.
