Uncommitted. Impact freshman that is a must-follow name. 6-foot-4, 195-pound, high-waisted with long legs, plenty of room to fill out. The left-hander hits from a wide stance with a short stride. His long levers allow his compact swing to cover all parts of the plate. Jones ended the day going 2-for-3 with a double and a couple of runs. The combination of barrel control and his easy strength allowed him to get a hold of a ball deep into left-center for a double. As he gets comfortable with high school ball, his stock will continue to rise.
Brady Jones (Metamora, 2028) coming in at a physical and developed 6-foot-4, 180-pound frame, was a definite name to follow from this weekend. The left-handed hitter provided a huge spark for WOW Factor in the championship game, going 3-for-3 at the plate with a pull-side and a back-side home run to total for five RBIs on the day, scoring three times himself. He also demonstrated range on the infield making several impressive plays over the weekend. Mechanically, Jones showcased a medium leg kick with quick hands, bat speed, and a level bat path. Jones also showed well on the bump going four strong innings to help pitch WOW Factor to a 12-2 victory in the semi-final. His fastball ranged from 78-80 mph and was able to hold velocity into his fourth and final inning of work. His curveball was 69-70 mph and produced several mis-hits throughout the game. Jones will be a freshman name to follow with his two-way talents.
3B Brady Jones (Metamora, 2028) stands in a hard-to-miss frame at 6-foot-3, 182-pounds with athleticism and projection throughout. Jones displayed an impressive round of batting practice from the left side of the plate. He showed easy power with loose hands through the zone, producing well-hit contact to the middle/pull-side of the field. His hardest hit ball was recorded at 85.4 mph (81.6 mph avg.), while sending his farthest hit ball 313 feet. He showed clean actions defensively and was up to 80.9 mph during his bullpen.

Hit: LHH. Taller setup, slightly open stance, small leg lift, comes back to center with stride. Loose, athletic hands, slightly uphill path, works mostly up the middle/pull-side.

INF Brady Jones (Metamora, 2028) was impressive on both sides of the ball for Wow Factor throughout the weekend. The left-handed hitter stands at a long-levered 6-foot-2, 165-pound frame with plenty of room for added strength. At the plate, Jones barreled a triple down the line, using a loose, fluid swing. Defensively, Jones played a solid third base, making a number of impressive plays with the glove. Will be a player to monitor as he continues to develop throughout his prep career.
Jones is a 6-foot-1, 160-pound athletic body that impressed with his level, on-plane swing. Active hands in the box, and showed easy power to both sides of the field with his two doubles. Final Line: 2-for-3, 4 RBI, 1 R. Jones continued to impress this weekend in later looks, going 1-for-1 with a towering home run and two walks in a winning effort to secure Wow Factor a place in the championship game. Showed discipline at the plate, primarily swinging at pitches in the zone all game. Not to mention, showcasing bat-to-ball skills as he was able to swing on-plane and get his foot down on time to hit a momentum-changing home run.
