INF/RHP Caden Kendall (Andrew, 2026) had a quality showing with the bat and on the mound at the event. He presents a noticeably strong and sturdy frame at 5-foot-10, 180-pounds. On the mound he featured a two-seam fastball that had both run and sink to it, playing at the bottom of the zone at 87-89 mph. He then went to a 67-69 mph big-breaking 12/6 curveball that was in the zone 75% of the time. He also threw his slider for 75% strikes, sitting 71-74 mph with shorter action than the curveball. Kendall rounded out his mix with a 76-77 mph changeup that played with slight fade and dive. At the plate, Kendall showed strong hands with a flat path and some intent through impact, working to keep the ball on a line with a peak EV of 98 mph.

INF/RHP Caden Kendall (Andrew) impressed with his defense during gameplay. He made a diving play at third base, making a throw across the diamond to first for an out, and he continued to show quality defense throughout. An athletic and projectable frame at 5-foot-10, 165-pounds, Kendall tallied two hits, one being a double, with two RBIs and two walks. During the showcase portion of the event, he posted a max exit velocity of 96.3 mph, 90 mph infield velocity (tied for second best at the event), and he ran a 7.16 60 time. He also showed well on the mound, cruising in the mid-80s (T86 mph) while also showing confidence in a sharp low-60s curveball. Uncommitted prospect to follow in Illinois.

Body: 5-10, 157.2-pounds.
Hit: RHH. Narrow, upright setup, leg-lift trigger. Flat path, line drive contact, used the whole field, athletic. 70.6 mph bat speed with 10 G’s of rotational acceleration.
Power: 96 max exit velocity, averaged 87.5 mph. 310’ max distance.
Arm: RH. INF - 90 mph. High 3/4 slot, whippy action, short arm swing.
Defense: Two-hand gather out front, deliberate actions.
Run: 7.16 runner in the 60.

5-foot-9, 167-pound athletic frame, Kendall gave a quality start in Premiers final game against Rhino Boyette. The right-hander tossed four innings only allowing one run. With a fluid high kick motion that is followed by a quick snapping arm, Kendall was able to generate soft contact outs and have effective innings. His fastball was sitting at 79-84 mph, the curveball was at 66-68 mph, and the change-up was 74 mph. The changeup played well off of the fastball and the curveball was used more as a chase pitch. Kendall was able to attack hitters early and command the strike zone. He let his fielders work for him and got outs.

Nolan Kendall’s brother, INF/RHP Caden Kendall (Andrew, 2026), came away one of the event’s biggest winners with a strong showing both as a position player and as an arm. Listed at 5-foot-10, 167-pounds, Kendall has some athleticism throughout his build while holding room to add on strength in the coming years. On the mound, Kendall has a controlled leg lift into balance point, working with a tall/fall lower-half that remains in-line down the mound. His arm plays with a long reach in the back before transitioning into a ¾ slot with some quickness out front. There’s still more left in the tank mechanically with Kendall, and he could see some jumps as he matures. His fastball played in the 83-86 mph range with running action to his arm-side, averaging over 14” with up to 17.6” of run. His go-to secondary was a big-breaking curveball that played with gradual action and 11/5 shape, sitting around 61-63 mph. His final offering was a running changeup with a similar profile to his fastball, sitting 69-72 mph with over 14” of run at times. Offensively, he operates with easy effort from the right side of the plate with quick hands, present twitch and bat speed while staying direct to the ball with a line-drive approach. Kendall’s furthest batted ball traveled 318’ while averaging 82.4 mph off the bat, T92.9 mph.

Kendall is a dynamic player that showed athleticism on both sides of the ball on Thursday morning. On the mound, he attacked hitters with a quick arm and a fastball that got up to 80 mph. Also mixed in a sharp breaking ball that generated swings and misses. At the plate, Kendall had an aggressive approach and showed natural power, slugging two doubles to left-center field.
