RHP Collin Grosenheider (Williamsville, 2027) is a wiry, 6-foot, 161-pound frame, giving a good, high-paced look on the mound. Working through two innings, the right-hander struck out one and allowed only two hits. Working from a high pace, rocker motion, working downhill, the arm works from a ¾ slot, working quick and loose. Grosenheider showed a three-pitch mix: the fastball was sitting mid-80s with cutting action, the slider was mid-70s with a late break gyro shape, and the changeup was upper-70s with a similar profile to the fastball. The right-hander was not afraid to attack and fill up the zone, leading to contact outs with a high pace on the mound.
Positional Profile: SS/RHP
Body: 5-11.6, 161.2-pounds. Compact build with noticeable strength throughout.
Hit: RHH. Static setup, short/simple stride, utilizes lower-half. Uphill path, creates leverage, generates loft on the ball, works both gaps. 66.7 mph bat speed with 11g of rotational acceleration.
Power: 95 mph max exit velocity (88.8 avg.); 362-foot max batted distance.
Arm: RH. INF - 85 mph. Longer, loose arm action, 3/4 slot.
Defense: Works around the ball, smooth, two-hand gather into his body, short shuffle step to target.
Athletic Testing: 7.11 runner in the 60-yard dash; 23.80-inch max vertical jump.

Delivery: Works with pace, rocker motion, high leg kick into balance point, works downhill.

Standing in at a wiry 5-foot-11, 157-pound frame with room for added strength, Grosenheider showed clean actions up the middle all weekend. Offensively, the right-handed hitter featured a balanced setup with a short toe-tap stride, displaying direct hands that worked into a level path. He found the barrel for a bases-clearing double to right-center field in Saturday’s 9-1 win, finishing 1-for-2 on the day with three RBIs and a walk. Defensively, Grosenheider showed a steady glove, with a strong arm, and multiple smooth double play turns.
Uncommitted. Athletic 5-foot-11, 157-pound frame with room to add strength. Started at third and hit out of the three-hole. Grosenheider stuck out as an upside prospect Saturday morning. Right-handed hitter that operates with a wide stance and a toe-tap. Was able to leg-out a fielder's choice and then pick up a steal right after to show off his wheels. Was a smooth operator at third with a strong arm. Showed the ability to be an advanced fielder on the left-side of the infield.

Body: 6-1, 160 pounds. Long-levered frame.
Hit: RHH. Wide, crouched setup, minimal leg lift and stride. Longer and flat swing through the zone, looks to elevate the ball. 66.4 mph bat speed with 7g of rotational acceleration.
Power: 92 mph max exit velocity (77.1 avg.).
Arm: RH. INF - 87 mph. Full arm action, high ¾ slot.
Defense: Steady feet, two-hand funnel into body, shuffle step to target.
Athletic Testing: 7.22 runner in the 60-yard dash; 24.60-inch max vertical jump.

Delivery: High leg lift with tuck and coil, drop/drive down the mound.

Grosenheider, presenting a wiry 6-foot, 145-pound frame, had an outstanding day on the mound Sunday tossing seven efficient innings for a complete game win. He maintained velocity throughout the game as he started and finished his outing throwing his fastball at 78-81 mph, and his curveball ranged from 66-69 mph with 11/5 movement. Mechanically, he demonstrated repeatability with his motion and threw consistent strikes throughout the game with a 65% strike percentage.
