RHP Max Young (Mahomet-Seymour, 2026) struck out two over 1 ⅓ innings pitched. Lean, athletic 6-foot-1, 173-pound frame with room for additional strength. Fluid, athletic delivery with a high leg lift into a directional drop-and-drive move. Smooth arm-action out of a ¾ slot. Strong two-pitch mix while flashing a third offering. Fastball sat 84-86 mph (T87) with life (max 17.3 IVB). Showed a high spinning slider at 72-75 mph with sweep (max 2467 rpm). Flashed a changeup at 80 mph killing spin.
Positional Profile: RHP/3B
Body: 6-1, 173-pounds. Wiry, long-levered frame with more to come.
Delivery: Smooth, athletic delivery, high leg lift with some coil, drop and drive, directional.
Arm Action: RH. Athletic, long, loose arm 3/4 slot.
FB: T87, 84-86 mph. Life out of the hand, carry with some cut, swing-and-miss. T2540, 2335 average rpm.

He finished the game going three strong innings striking out five allowing no hits and one run. Relied on a two-pitch mix, the fastball sat 85-87 mph with life through the zone. The slider sat 73-74 mph with sweep and consistent strikes. Smooth, athletic delivery with a ¾ arm slot. Attacks the zone. An uncommitted arm to know in the 2026 class.
Uncommitted. Athletic 6-foot-1, 173-pound frame with room to add strength. Young was electric Thursday night as he struck out seven batters while throwing a four-inning complete game. The right-hander operates from a simple, easy delivery with a high leg lift while having a tall/fall approach. Loose, full, quick arm action from a ¾ slot. His fastball sat 84-86 mph while having a spin rate of 2400-2500 RPM. He mixed in a sharp slider that sat 72-74 mph with a late bite. Young flashed a changeup that sat 79-80 mph.
