Wiry and athletic 5'11" 170 lbs. frame that will continue to fill out over the coming years.  The Northwestern State recruit entered the game in the 4th inning against Fontainebleau last Monday, and showed a jump forward from last spring.  Trosclair attacked hitters and collected whiffs with a heavy dose of FB's up to 91 mph.  He sat 87-91 mph in the first, before settling in at 84-88 mph for the rest of his outing.  Trosclair rarely had to go to his high-spinning "1-7" shaped mid-70's CB, but the pitched flashed as a future swing & miss offering when he did pull it out of his tool box.  The senior southpaw took a tough loss against Fontainebleau, after tossing 3 IP and giving up 2 H and 1 ER with 2 BB and 8 K's.  As the ace of the staff, we fully expect him to continue to pitch at a high-level this spring.
