The Prep Baseball Louisiana High School Pitcher of the Week highlights the best individual pitching performance for a Louisiana high school player from the previous week.  Each week, high school coaches are emailed and asked to send in their nominees for Pitcher and Player of the Week.  If you wish to nominate someone for Player or Pitcher of the Week, please email Alex Armand at [email protected]

While there can only be one pitcher and player of the week, our Diamond Notes, which are released every Wedensday, are intended to shine a spotlight on other noteworthy performances from the previous week.

2025 LHP Brody Trosclair (Thibodaux HS)

-Strikeouts: 9

Thibodaux had lost three out of their last five games, heading into last Tuesday's district matchup with Destrehan, and junior LHP Brody Trosclair came through in a big way for the Tigers.  The Northwestern State recruit got the start and tossed seven innings of no-hit baseball with 4 BB and 9 K's to earn the win, as Thibodaux defeated Destrehan by a score of 2-1 in eight innings.
