Delivery: Uptempo side-step delivery. Repeats well. High balance point working downhill with aggression. Strong lead leg with some extension out front. Lands slightly closed, working across his body.
Arm Action: RH. Long to short high-3/4 arm action.
FB: T84, 81-84 mph. Heavy action around the zone. T2204, 2127 average rpm.
SL: 68-70 mph. Sharp 11/5 break with depth. Solid feel. T2712, 2629 average rpm.
CH: 71-72 mph. Solid fade action. Kills spin. T1679, 1629 average rpm.
ATH: 23.50 max vertical.
RHP Cade Cantrell (Knob Noster, 2028) put together an impressive bullpen that was mature beyond his years in this look. The lean, projectable, 6-foot, 153-pound righty ran his fastball up to 84.3 mph, with plenty more to come, consistently sitting at 80-83 mph and playing with carry through the zone. His best secondary pitch at the moment looks to be his slider which he threw at 68-69 mph with an average, bullet-like spin rate of 2,629 RPM. Cantrell also turned over a low spin changeup at 70-72 mph that played with arm side run.
