Grip strength is a measure of a players bat control and ability to transfer power and speed during impact, measured in pounds of force generated; collected with elbow bent at 90 degrees.
Positional Profile: RHP
Body: 6-foot-5, 210-pounds. Large and physical build with room for added strength in the future.
Delivery: Strong rocker style footwork around the rubber working to a sliding pivot foot. Works to a mid height balance point with strong weight stack and body weight over back leg. Hand works quietly around the belt and breaks cleanly at the top of the delivery. Short sink into the back leg with short push off the rubber. Maintains quick pace and tempo throughout the delivery. Works from the middle of the rubber and strides directionally down the center of the mound into a slightly bent plant leg with strong extension.
Arm: Action: High ¾ arm slot with a short and loose arm action.
Fastball: 73-76 mph. Shows some arm side run with consistent release point and feel for command.
Curveball: 62 mph. Big and loopy shape with developing spin.
Changeup: 63-65 mph. Strong fading action with fastball hand speed. Makings of a plus pitch in the future.
