C/INF Jackson Echalk (Heritage Hall, 2028) showed plenty of current substance mixed with future upside throughout our look on 1/20. The Heritage Hall product was consistently amongst the leaders with a 90.9 mph Exit Velocity from a very athletic and aggressive stroke and comfort catching the ball out front. Defensively, Echalk showed versatility at both catcher and on the infield highlighted with his athleticism. Behind the plate, he was up to 79 mph and as low as a 2.06 pop time. An athletic frame, standing at 6’0” and 165 pounds, Echalk will be an exciting prospect to follow over the course of his career with plenty of upside and projectability.
