INF/RHP Lance Bellmard (Thomas Edison Prep, 2027) put his athleticism on display at our Tulsa Preseason ID on both sides of the ball. The switch hitting infielder put together a BP round showcasing a gap to gap approach that will highlight his speed and athleticism and had a max exit velocity of 86.4 mph. Defensively, Bellmard displayed the ability to catch the ball out front and was comfortable moving in all directions - forehand, backhand, and specifically on the ball he had to come in on. He finished his day on the mound and had feel and command of his entire mix. The fastball topped out at 77.9 mph with max 20.6” Induced Vertical Break. Bellmard’s curveball, consistently in the zone, spun in at while his changeup had 17.7” of Horizontal Movement. An athletic mover, Bellmard will be a player to continue following over the course of his career.
