Great frame with plenty of room for added strength. Plus runner for the position (6.85 60) with good first-step quickness. Continues to show quality receiving skills, something that has been consistent across multiple game looks. Posted 1.92-2.00 pop times during workouts while doing a better job staying behind the baseball for improved carry and accuracy. Switch-hitter with a polished offensive approach from both sides, consistently finding the barrel. Hit-over-power profile now with developing future power.
Positional Profile: C
Body: 6-2, 188-pounds. Avg width to shoulders and back. Good middle/lower. Projects well for future strength.
Hit: SH. LHH...Knee lift, lands heavy into front leg causing slight drift forward. Rotational back foot with linear movement forward, solid use of lower 1/2 in swing. Hits into firm front leg, stride foot into ground. Upright posture at contact. Solid LHH hit approach. RHH...knee lift stride, lands in solid position. Rotational back foot with slight linear movement. Solid use of lower, gaining small amount of linear movement will increase use of lower. Hits into firm front leg, stride foot stays into ground. Upright posture at contact. Solid hit approach. LHH...barrel/hands in good launch position, takes solid path to zone. Cuts off swing, lacking consistent extension thru baseball. Rigth shoulder opens quick, think less is more with lead shoulder, this will allow barrel to stay thru baseball for extension. RHH...with stride hands push back, hands lead the swing, work to develop slight trigger to get barrel started, this will allow top hand to be more involved at start of swing. Cuts off swing, lacks extension thru baseball, keep lead shoulder closed.
Power: 103 max exit velocity, averaged 92.6 mph. 336' max distance.
Arm: RH. C-80 mph. Quickness to release along with arm strength. Showing ability to stay behind baseball creating carry to throws. Abv avg HS pop times in workout.
Defense: 1.92-2.00 pop times. Receives well, showed in game play. Moves to black. Solid glove to hand exchange with avg quickness to release.
ATH: 6.85 runner in the 60. 1.64 and 3.83 in the 10 and 30 yard splits. Solid start, stride length. Uprigth last 30 yards till finish. Develop lean forward at waist to get shoulders and head forward slightly. Plus runner now. 25.30 max vertical.
Switch hitting catcher with build/frame to add strength. Receives well behind the plate. Raw arm strength with carry when he stays behind baseball. 7.0 60, moves well. Solid hit approach showing ability to impact baseball is coming as strength improves. Will continue to develop.

Positional Profile: C SH/C good build/frame to add strength. Moves well, look for speed to increase some in future, solid avg runner now. Receives well, moves well behind plate. Hands work. Raw arm strength developing, carry will improve. Quality hit approach and swing. Opportunities to improve rhythm/timing with pre swing movements. Hand speed present now. Solid AB's in game play, couple of hard hit balls. Will continue to improve. Upside, can play.
Body: 6-1, 188-pounds. Good build/frame to add strength in future. Width to shoulders and back. Solid lower 1/2. Projects well physically.
Hit: SH. RHH…rotational back foot with little movement forward, does solid job of using lower 1/2 in swing. Hits into firm front leg, stride foot stays into ground thru contact. Solid posture present. LHH…Similar to RHH, solid use of lower with rotational back foot driving forward slightly. Hits into firm front leg, stays into ground with stride foot. Solid posture. RHH…with stride hands drop, push away from body slightly. Dead stop barrel launch, recommend trying to add slight/minor hand movement to get barrel moving prior to launch. Solid path present to baseball with hands/barrel. LHH…Barrel/hands in similar launch position. Dead stop with barrel to start, recommend working to develop slight/minor hand movement to getting barrel moving prior to swing. Creating some movement will help create some rythym and increase bat speed. Shows now hand speed and developing bat speed, both sides of plate. Raw bat speed will increase with added strength. 68 mph bat speed with 20 G's of rotational acceleration.
Power: 98 max exit velocity, averaged 95.3 mph. 318' max distance. Solid bat/power combo in future, hit over power. Opportunities present to firm rhythm with barrel/hands resulting in firmer bat speed. Solid hit approach and swing with minor tweaks to firm. Added strength in future will firm bat speed, along with bat strength resulting in increased ability to impact baseball. Strong confidence in ability to hit.
Arm: RH. C-78 mph. Shows arm speed. Short path. Can get overrotated in upper half at times. LTQ slot creating tailing action, work to stay behind baseball to develop backspin carry. Other option is work to raise arm slot, now is time to do if comfortable making slot change. It will take time to develop muscle memory and feel comfortable.
Defense: 1.90-1.96 pop times. Stays low. Soft hands. Quick feet but direction can get off at times.
ATH: 7.03 runner in the 60. 1.60 and 3.87 in the 10 and 30 yard splits. Solid start. Good stride length with solid run form. Hard runner, expect speed to tick up slightly in future. 23.80 max vertical.
