On Saturday, September 19th, the PB Texas staff traveled to Weatherford College in Weatherford, TX, to host the Texas State Games: Upperclass, an invite-only event for the class of 2026 and 2027.

More than 100 players made their way to Weatherford College this past weekend and participated in a pro-style workout as well as gameplay, gathering unrivaled access to data through our state-of-the-art tech partners, while receiving in-depth scouting analysis from our Prep Baseball Texas staff.

Today, we will be looking at the top measurable data performers in catcher velocity, catcher pop times, and fastball velocity, found below. The final leaderboards from the event will release tomorrow, with an all-encompassing Statistical Analysis releasing at the end of the week.
