Travis Fiedler, Ridge Point (TX), 2028 Positional Profile: SS/3B LHH/INF Will add strength. Young player showing solid tools. Will be plus runner at minimum in future. Defensively will continue to develop. Like the bat/power combo. Impressive player for 2028. Body: 5-11, 165-pounds. Good build/frame to add strength, very projectable. Hit: LHH. Lands in good position to hit after stride, rotational back foot, gets stuck at times, shows some linear movement to back foot sliding towards 1st base, doesn't maximize use of lower 1/2 in swing. Firm ability to get back foot fully rotated, like the slight linear movement, work to develop taking foot towards mound increasing lower 1/2. Back foot can slide away from plate on away pitches for balance. Hands/barrel start in solid position, barrel tip present with barrel working back to nice launch position. Some concerns with consistent timing due to barrel tip. Developing bat/hand speed, will have good bat/hand speed with added strength and maturity in future. 66.5 mph bat speed with 8 G's of rotational acceleration. Power: 95 max exit velocity, averaged 86.4 mph. 337' max distance. Young hitter, projecting solid bat/power combo in future with opportunities for adjustments present. Like the upside as he matures and adjusts. Arm: RH. INF-84 mph. Arm works, shows carry. Decent job of following throw with feet. Didn't show ability to throw from all angles on move. Will continue to improve in future. Defense: Feet work well getting body to baseball, nice1st step quickness, nice job of playing thru baseball. Hands work, fields baseball out front, nice job of manipulating glove adjusting to GB. Solid defender, will continue to improve. ATH: 6.93 runner in the 60. Solid start, runs well, will improve as he adds strength.
