Cameron Ireland, Keller (TX), 2026 Positional Profile: RHP/1B RHS future. Opportunities for delivery adjustments present. Arm works showing arm speed. FB will continue to add velo in future. Feel for slider action present, expect effectiveness to improve with added velo. Split shows down action. Around zone with stuff. Nice upside. Body: 6-3, 195-pounds. Good physical build with strength to lower. Will continue to add strength in future. Delivery: Side step rocker, high knee lift, some drop and drive to delivery with back leg. Nice job of driving off rubber. Stride foot goes past midline down the slope, opens toe. Front shoulder opens early, runs away from arm. Would like to see stride leg work more online, land with front to not open, work to keep front shoulder closed. Arm Action: RH. TQ slot. Full circle, works well. Good finish out front. Arm speed/quickness present. FB: T85, 83-85 mph. Around zone. Shows some carry up in zone. Arm side tail. T2073, 1945 average rpm. SL: 72-74 mph. Flashes solid slider action at times. Decent spin present, feel for pitch present. T1909, 1821 average rpm. SPLT: 71-73 mph. Down action, flashes quality action.

Standing at 6’3” and 195 pounds, RHP/1B Cameron Ireland (Keller, 2026) is a projectable right-hander whose fastball has already been in the upper 80s, and we expect him to touch 90 mph this spring. His delivery features a side-step rocker, high knee lift, and some drop-and-drive from the back leg, showing decent explosiveness off the rubber. While there’s room for adjustment—particularly in keeping his front shoulder closed—his arm works well from a true three-quarter slot, flashing solid arm speed. He pairs his fastball with a slider (72-74 mph) that shows promising shape and spin, and a splitter (71-73 mph) displaying down action. With Keller losing many innings to graduation, Cameron has an excellent opportunity to earn significant mound time this spring.

Cameron Ireland, Keller (TX), 2026 Positional Profile: RHP/1B Upside. Will gain strength. Opportunities for adjustments with swing and hit approach, bat/power combo can exceed. Defensively can develop into solid defender. RHP…upside with delivery clean up. Arm speed present with acceleration, will throw harder. Firming deliver will firm stuff in zone. Body: 6-2, 190-pounds. Good build/frame to add strength. Delivery: Solid use of lower 1/2 out of post up. 1st base side start with open toe land and weak front leg, front hip opens early, spinoff finish. Directionally can improve, can firm landing leg. Upside to velo with firming of delivery. Arm Action: RH. Compact circle showing arm speed with acceleration present. FB: T87, 84-86 mph. Around zone with fair carry to FB. Like the upside to raw velocity with cleaning up of delivery. T2008, 1909 average rpm. SL: 74-75 mph. Quality action/finish. Good build/frame to add strength. Hit: RHH. Sets up with weight evenly distributed, weight shift to back foot to start stride, closes off from open stance with stride, solid position to hit. Back foot movement varies, linear movement sometimes with back foot moving away from plate with movement forward, other times, back foot gets stuck and does nothing. Can firm movement forward towards pitcher, not get back foot stuck. Both will help with lower 1/2 being used in swing. Hands/barrel in solid position to hit, length to swing, pull approach. Can shorten swing with more direct path of hands to hitting zone and utilizing all fields. 70.3 mph bat speed with 10 G's of rotational acceleration. Power: 95 max exit velocity, averaged 89.6 mph. 343' max distance. Pull side power coming, contact consistency will improve with swing and approach adjustments. Arm: RH. INF-82 mph. Arm works well with carry across infield. Defense: Nice 1st step moving to baseball, feet get body in position to field, feet also get stuck instead of playing thru ball. Fields baseball deep, can field more out front. ATH: 7.77 runner in the 60. Runs hard. 22.20 max vertical. Vizual Edge: 73.44 Edge Score
