The left/left outfielder started the day off by running the second fastest 60-yard dash time at a 6.86. During BP, Burke put together a loud round, the strong left-hander was producing easy pop off the bat leveraging baseballs out front. Burke had the highest average exit velocity of the event at 88.5 mph, with his max being 96.8. Metrically Burke’s swing is equally impressive with an average bat speed of 77.7 mph, with his peak bat speed measuring at 89.6. Twitchy athlete that made a number of impressive catches while manning centerfield. At the plate, flashed feel for the barrel using a pull-side approach and quick hands.
5-foot-7, 141 pounds with an athletic/physical frame and strong lower half; he fit right in playing a grade level up. Left-handed-hitting outfielder who led off for GRB Rays Green all weekend. At the dish, sets up in a balanced and open stance with a leg lift stride and smooth loading actions. Swing has fluid rhythm throughout. Showed off quick bat speed; gap-to-gap approach with barrel feel. Against Hitters Navy he found the barrel a couple times, going 2-for-2 with a pair of doubles, one roped down the right field line and the other shot to dead center.
