+ OF Laliwa Delgado (West De Pere, 2026) had a nice day with the bat and glove. The right handed hitter was explosive through the baseball and registered some of the best exit velocities on the day. He was up to 97 mph off the barrel as he was consistently driving the baseball through the back of the cage throughout his round. The outfielder also unleashed throws up to 90 mph showcasing considerable arm strength to be able to stick at all three outfield spots in the future. Delgado took his talents to the mound and was up to 86 mph with the fastball with a solid three pitch mix for strikes. He could potentially get some innings at the next level but our staff believes Delgado is going to be impactful as a position player in college. He’s on our staff’s radar and we are looking forward to seeing him perform this spring.

At the plate, Delgado presents a wider base and simple trigger, looking to drive the ball with a flat bat path. The no. 87 ranked player in Wisconsin’s rising junior class, the West De Pere student-athlete is an uncommitted name to follow.

C/INF Laliwa Delgado (West De Pere, 2026) was another all-around performer at Tuesday’s event. The 5-foot-9, 174-pound right-hander started the day by running a 6.94 60-yard dash which was good for the third best of the event. During his round of BP, Delgado took a loud round driving the ball in the air through the middle of the field. For his round, Delgado had an average exit velocity of 86.8 mph, peaking at 95.4 throughout his round. Defensively in the infield, Delgado was confident in his hands and made accurate throws across the diamond with arm strength up to 86 mph. Behind the plate, Delgado led the way in both catcher velo and pop times with his firmest bullet coming in at 76 mph and recorded a 2.01 pop time.

Delgado showed well all around this past weekend in Green Bay where he had some of the higher statistical numbers from his class at the event. He began the day by running a 7.20 in the 60-yard dash. He followed that up with defense, where he showed his athleticism in the infield and a lively arm with carry that resulted in a max velocity across the diamond of 85 mph. Behind the dish, Delgado was quick out of the crouch with pop times ranges of 2.15-2.19, and he recorded a max velocity of 75 mph on throws to second.
