+ Cooper Hall, INF/RHP (Cedarburg): Hall impressed on the mound. Standing in as a wiry, long-limbed 6-foot, 162-pound frame, with plenty of room to fill out. The right-hander works with a high kick, tall and fall motion, with a quick half-circle arm action from the ¾ slot. Showing a three-pitch mix, the fastball was sitting 78-81 mph with slight ride and arm side run, and the curveball was sitting 65-67 mph with 12-6 shape and big break. Through his two innings on the mound, Hall struck out three, able to generate swing and misses.
+ INF/RHP Cooper Hall (Cedarburg, 2028) has some of the highest upside in the state’s freshman class. True two-way potential from the 6-foot, 161 pound right/right athlete with a high ceiling on each side. At the plate, the right-handed has a smooth and athletic swing with a hitterish look. Defensively the freshman has soft and confident hands to pair with quick twitch and range to both sides with a strong arm for his age up to 80 mph across. On the mound, the arm action with, from a higher slot, the arm works continuous with explosiveness through release. The fastball reached 81 mph with feel for the zone with feel for two different breaking balls that both flashed sharp action. Rounding off the arsenal, Hall showed feel for a running changeup that plays in the mid-70s.

Hall, coming in at a lean 5-foot-10, 142 pounds, impressed this weekend throwing four strong innings for PTA Cardinal to secure them a victory. Deploying a three pitch mix that each were thrown for strikes, Hall was able to keep hitters off-balance to secure weak contact. His fastball sat 75-77 mph with run and was consistently thrown around the zone. Both of his breaking pitches demonstrated advanced feel. His curveball had 11/5 break and was 57-59 mph while his slider had a sharp break that sat 61-64 mph. Both breaking pitches produced multiple swing-and-misses and mishits. He is certainly an arm to look out for this summer as he will continue to grow into his frame.
