RHP Elijah Jourdan (Bay Port, 2028): Standing at a strong, sturdy 5-foot-10, 210 pounds, brings a physical frame with room to add even more mass. On the mound, the right-hander works with a simple, repeatable drop-and-drive delivery from a loose three-quarter slot. His fastball sat 79-80 mph, touching 81 mph (1,796 rpm) with 16.5 inches of average induced vertical break, while his slider played at 67-68 mph (1,658 rpm) with -10.0 inches of horizontal movement. He also showcased a 65-69 mph changeup (1,446 rpm) with 16.3 inches of horizontal movement and heavy arm-side fade.

+ RHP/INF Elijah Jourdan (Bay Port, 2028) stands at an athletic and strong 5-foot-9, 189 pound build. At the plate, the right-handed hitter reached 90 mph max exit from compact path and feel to hit. On the mound, Jourdan showed repeated feel for his right-handed delivery with a low-80s (T82.3 mph) fastball with life through the zone, a sweeping slider and change up with depth at the plate.

Jourdan, posing at a physical 5-foot-10, 175-pound frame, put together a clean performance in Bay Port’s close Friday morning 5-3 win. The right-hander displayed high level command of his fastball, consistently throwing it for strikes on the outside corner to get ahead of hitters; utilizing the elevated fastball as a putaway location. Mechanically, showed a short arm swing, ¾ arm slot, easy arm speed, and an upper half lean causing a slightly gloveside offset stride and landing spot. His fastball sat from 75-77 mph, topping at 79; backed by a true 1/7 o’clock curveball thrown around the plate and sitting at 67-68 mph, which kept hitters off of his fastball throughout the outing.
