Mayer had a strong all-around showing during Thursday’s action. The trim 6-foot-1, 155-pound L/L prospect got the start on the mound and batted second for 5 Star Wisconsin. Mayer’s biggest performance came at the plate where he tallied three hits, including a triple to deep center field. On the mound, he has a loose and clean operation with minimal effort.
