Wierzba impressed during his championship game start on the mound. High ceiling left-handed pitcher that showed above average pitchability. Three pitch mix with a fastball that sat in the upper-70s and touch 80 mph a handful of times. Flashed feel for a changeup in the low-70s that got swings and misses low in the zone. Also used a curveball with depth to get hitters out in front and force weak contact.
