For the last seven years, the Bichette family has been a fixture on the amateur showcase circuit. Dante Bichette Jr. participated in the Power Showcase, which also featured the likes of Bryce Harper and Randal Grichuk, as a sophomore in 2009 and made the usual rounds to events like the Tournament of Stars and Under Armour All-America Game. Typically in the stands watching were Dante Sr., the 14-year big leaguer and a part of the Blake Street Bombers, as well as his wife, Mariana. Usually in tow was the youngest Bichette, Bo, who had no trouble fitting in with his brother’s peers even though he was about five years younger.
