With college baseball seasons coming to a end we've received an influx of questions from college athletes and their parents regarding transfer rules. So, today we are going to take a break from our features covering the recruiting rules for high school prospects and take a look at the rules regarding transferring from one college to another. 

Every summer thousands of college baseball student-athletes transfer from one school to another.  The vast majority of whom transfer from a two-year (junior/community college) to a four-year school (NCAA/NAIA) – known as a 2-4 transfer in recruiting and eligibility parlance.
