Louisiana State picked up one of the top available 2019s in the country in SS/3B Rece Hinds (Niceville HS, FL). The No. 7 prospect in Florida, Hinds is high-waisted and athletic at 6-foot-3, 195 pounds. He shows quick feet and actions to go with a strong arm. He is balanced at the plate with quick hands and above average bat speed.

+ Early in the week, Buffalo announced it would be cutting four sports from its athletics department, including baseball. Current players with remaining eligibility, as well as recruits, will be looking for a new place to play.
