The early signing period opened this week, with seniors turning their verbal commitments into something more by sending in National Letters of Intent. While we’ve known for a while where most of the 2017 class is going, there were a few top prospects that made commitments in the last couple weeks. In Ontario, RHP Landon Leach (Pickering HS, ON) and SS Dondrae Bremner (Bill Crothers SS, ON) announced their decisions. Leach will attend Texas if he doesn’t sign out of the draft and Bremner will go to Cincinnati. They are ranked second and third in the province respectively while Leach climbed to No. 41 in the latest update of the PBR Draft 100.

Also of note, OF Conner Uselton (Southmoore HS, OK) committed to Oklahoma State. He is ranked No. 22 in the country.
