One of Texas’ top prospects has made a switch in commitments with RHP Simeon Woods-Richardson (Kempner HS, TX) flipping to Texas. Previously committed to Texas A&M, Woods-Richardson is ranked No. 7 in the state and No. 40 in the 2018 Overall Rankings. He has a strong, projectable frame at 6-foot-3, 198 pounds. At the Area Code Underclass Games in August, he range from 88-92 mph with his fastball while mixing in a 74-75 curveball with 11/5 shape.

Meanwhile, in Florida, LHP Nick Gorby (Port St. Lucie HS, FL) committed to Florida State. The 2020 Overall Rankings were just released this week and Gorby checked in at No. 15.
