Arm: RH. OF-87 mph. Shorter, quick arm action with a fast release. Gets rid of the ball efficiently and stays on line to the target, matching the urgency and athleticism he shows in the field.
Defense: Athletic mover who works around and through the baseball with a controlled, downhill approach. Gets his body moving in the right direction and stays under control while following through on plays. Footwork is clean and rhythmical, complementing his overall defensive actions.
ATH: 6.75 runner in the 60. 1.65 and 3.77 in the 10 and 30 yard splits. 33.50 max vertical.

Andres Armenta, a two-way player in the 2028 class from Casteel High School, was a standout at this past weekend’s preseason All-State event, displaying elite athleticism and significant power potential. At the plate, Armenta’s strong, balanced swing and high-level bat speed were evident, especially during the gameplay portion, where he smoked a ball to left field for a double. His natural feel for the game and impressive tools on both sides of the ball make him a must-follow prospect in the 2028 class as he continues to develop into a high-impact player.
