If having to face Harris wasn’t enough, the next guy up to bat after is one of the top ‘26 bats in the country. The physicality has taken off since the summer circuit, Minnatee has been hitting the weightroom and it's very hard to miss. Even running down the line on some of the balls he hit during the game, he definitely turned a lot of heads showing off his speed. On the day he went 2-4 with one of his hits going back off of the pitcher's leg, felt bad for the pitcher since he had hit it so hard. Minnatee has so much feel for his swing proving why he's one of the best pure hitters in the land. Another thing I noticed is how much he keeps his head still when he’s hitting, every type of velocity he’s faced, he manages to adjust to all different pitchers. Minnatee did strike out once off a Pettey heater that was out of the zone, but the next AB’s made up for it. Minnatee also made a bunch of great snags in the dirt when he was playing 1B, got his Wildcats out of some close calls. It’s a luxury to have a skilled defensive 1B and one that also can rake, excited to see Minnatee face off against the arms in the Bishop Gorman tournament and the Boras Classic.
