Grindlinger started his day by taking an impressive batting practice session with the second highest exit velocity for a 2027 from California by posting a max exit velocity of 99.2 MPH while averaging 94 MPH throughout his two rounds. The LH hitter blasted a 375' drive with a hard hit rate of 88% and sweet spot rate of 66% in his two rounds showing his consistent feel for hard contact with raw power. His Blast Motion metrics were impressive throughout his batting practice and the combination of his strong batted ball data, impressive swing metrics showed up during the game play portion of the day.
