Harper was the first baseman for the Broncos in today’s game, physically he is an absolute unit on the field. Standing at 6’3” 225 pounds, when standing in the box he brings a hitter mentality. Harper’s BP showed some juice to the poolside gap and had some feel for the barrel getting base hits to the middle of the field. Harper is a football player, so once he sticks to baseball I feel like his true potential will come out as a first baseman and a middle of the lineup type of hitter. During the game Harper got some really good swings off, but unfortunately he didn’t get any hits. Harper also did show some athletic ability when taking ground balls before the game, the kid plays the game hard and just wants to win. Harper will be a fun follow over the summer and going into his senior season.
