1. Drew Hamburger, Homestead High (CA), 2026
Positional Profile: SS/2B
Body: 6-2, 197-pounds.
Hit: RHH. Wide, balanced set up, with slight knee bend. Hands rest at ear level, with high back elbow and barrel pointed towards 3B dugout. Controlled load, shifting weight into back hip and hands working back. Pairs with small leg kick and barrel tip. Fires aggressively with hips as hands follow suit, creating decent separation. Back knee sinks slightly as hips fire, with tilt following in upper body through the swing path. Barrel gets through the zone quickly, with hands working close to the body.
