Richardson is another NorCal product who made the trip down from Manteca High to put on impressive display over the course of the three days. Richardson made a strong case of the MVP award for the entire State Games and likely could be considered the top offensive performer at Fullerton Union over the two games he played there. Stoutly built at 6'1 227.5 lbs. Richardson profiles a corner product with impact in his bat and that profile showed up a high level over both games. During batting practice the RH hitter peaked at 101+ MPH on his exit velocity with loud impact to the pull side (360' max distance) and in seven at bats over two games that strength showed up in a 5-7 showing. His first two knocks were singles with one being a 95 MPH line drive which drove in a run and the other showing off his strength when he muscled a flare into the OF for a knock. After grounding out Richardson would then unload on a 95 MPH EV homer before punching a single back through the middle of the diamond and then again uncorked on a 95 MPH EV homer in his sixth trip to the dish. An impressive display of feel to hit and impact Richardson is a strong offensive name to know in the 2026 class for college programs.
Richardson came out of Manteca High School and held it down at first base, one of the more physical guys of the group, standing at 6’1” 222.9 lbs, along with a 7.73 60-yard dash. With being a bigger guy he was still able to move around the infield efficiently at first base. Richardson had a max infield velocity of 77 mph, the arm is good enough to get it across the diamond with ease. Richardson can mash, he was consistently finding the barrel in his BP rounds, he had an event best 101.1 mph EV and had an average EV of 94 mph, which was showing he has a feel for the hitting zone and his own swing. He has the ability to show the pullside pop as well as hit it to the middle of the field. Richardson will be going into his senior year and will try to find a spot to contribute.
