Torres was the only switch hitter of the event, coming from Mountain House High School, the outfielder displayed some promising potential all over the field. Standing at 5’11” 216.3 lbs, another kid who’s got some good size. Torres ran a 7.73 60-yard dash with a max run speed of 17.6 mph. Transitioning to the outfield part of the workout, Torres has an outfield velocity of 80 mph, if he wants to stay in RF/CF he will need to get his arm stronger, but the bat is what is really impressive. Naturally, Torres is a left handed hitter, the right side is not bad but it's more of a base hit type of approach. On the left side, Torres can really let it rip, he had multiple home runs over the right field fence, having a max EV of 97.6 mph and a max distance of 363 ft. The bat is where I see Torres making a threat, I can also see him potentially transitioning to first base and focusing more on the left side, because there is some serious bat speed.
