Uncommitted. The number 5 player in the class of 2027 had himself a game on day 2 of GA Dugout Club against Savannah Christian. He was off to a hot start by launching a ball into the trees at 103EV, giving the Eagles an early 2-0 advantage. He gets his whole body into the swing and smoothly works through the zone with the hands. With a slight hand load, he stays connected throughout, producing easy pop. In his next AB he was up to more of the same, finding another barrel between the 5-6 hole at 96EV. His next two AB’s proved to be a tough out. As Aufderheide continues his hot streak, his name keeps growing in popularity for uncommitted outfielders. At 6-foot-1, 200-even, he is a solid option anywhere in the OF with his 6.64 speed. Big things ahead for the Junior as region play shapes up this upcoming week.
