Lincoln Land commit, currently ranked No. 98 in Illinois. 6-foot, 191-pound frame, strong and long-levered, room to continue to add strength. The right-handed hitter has easy strength in his swing with a simple operation, finishing the day 1-for-3 with the game’s lone RBI. He showed the ability to control his barrel and match plane, working hard on the barrel to his pull-side for a double on a pitch down and in. Steady defender behind the plate, willing blocker that is able to deaden the ball out front and square the baseball up, works to present pitches around the zone.
Verbally committed Lincoln Land CC.
Uncommitted and currently ranked No. 166 in the state. Lennington was all over the barrel throughout the tournament, hitting a pair of homers in the first two games for Top Tier, and then adding onto it with a double on Saturday afternoon. Presents a 6-foot, 190-pound frame with apparent strength in the lower-half that he utilizes for power. Defensively, he presents a large target behind the plate and has flexibility in the hips, allowing him to get to pitches on both sides of the plate. Lennington also showed a visibly strong arm that played true and accurate.
