1B/RHP Christian Lott (Simeon, 2026) is a strong-bodied sophomore who showed well in a couple different aspects on Sunday. The right-handed hitter displayed easy power at the plate, reaching up to 91.9 mph with a max EV of 334’. He’s also a quality defender at first base, displaying steady hands with some feel around the bag. On the mound, the big right-hander has a smooth and easy tempo, delivering his hardest fastball at 80 mph to pair off a tight 12/6 curveball and deceptive changeup with tilt and feel for the zone.
Positional Profile: 1B/RHP
Body: 6-4, 212-pounds. Extra-large, strong, well-proportioned frame.
Hit: RHH. Athletic, quiet setup, minimal load, short stride. Strong hands, flat path, looks to keep the ball on a line; short and direct path. mph bat speed with G’s of rotational acceleration.
Power: 92 max exit velocity, averaged 74.4 mph. 335’ max distance.
Arm: RH. INF - 75 mph. Compact arm circle, high 3/4 release.
Defense: Frame fits the position. Natural receiving throws across. Steady hands, clean actions and above-average mover around the bag for his size.

Delivery: Smooth, rhythmic, tall and fall delivery. Plays directionally down the mound and lands square and balanced.
Arm Action: RH. Long arm action, over-the-top slot.
FB: T80, 77-80 mph. Plays straight, intent to work down in the zone, creates angle. T1933, 1873 average rpm.
CB: 64-70 mph. Thrown with intent, short, tight 12/6 type action. T1811, 1717 average rpm.
CH: 69-71 mph. Plays with arm speed, feel and creates tilt to the bottom of the zone at times. T1101, 1040 average rpm.
Two big right-handed hitters to make note of are 1B Jaden Franckowiak (Andrew, 2024) and CIF/RHP Christian Lott (Simeon, 2026).
Lott, listed at 6-foot-3, 175-pounds with even more room to fill out, impressed with his simple, yet strong right-handed swing, remaining level through the zone and using his pull-side primarily. Lott also provides intrigue on the mound with an arm that plays from an over-the-top slot getting true four-seam action on his fastball with occasional ride through the zone.
Positional Profile: 3B/RHP
Body: 6-3, 176-pounds. High waisted frame with strength.
Hit: RHH. Wide setup, sits backside, repeatable load with some rhythm. Direct path, long through the zone, with present bat speed and some feel for the barrel.
Power: 86 max exit velocity, averaged 70.5 mph. 272’ max distance.
Arm: RH. INF - 75 mph. Live arm with carry across the diamond, high 3/4 to over the top slot.
Defense: Reliable hands with steady actions, two handed gather, secures ball into body.
Run: 8.07 runner in the 60.
Delivery: Methodical tempo, high leg kick into a drop and drive lower half, online finish towards home.
Arm Action: RH. Fluid, continuous arm action into a high 3/4 slot.
FB: T78, 77-78 mph. Thrown downhill with life out of the hand. T1718, 1606 average rpm.
SL: 66-71 mph. Jumps out of the hand. Plays with tight sweeping action with some depth. T1790, 1707 average rpm.
CH: 68-69 mph. Thrown with intent, similar profile to the fastball, with some feel for the zone. T1153, 1049 average rpm.
Junior Futures Games: In Game two, Illinois took a loss to Team Louisiana 3-2 on a walk-off. Christian Lott toed the rubber for the game and showed advanced feel by commanding three pitches and topping out at 78 on the mound. He projects to be a high-follow on the mound with long loose levers and tons of pitchability. Lott also handled the bat well by lacing a double in the gap for a RBI.

Body: 6-1, 173-pounds.
Hit: RHH. Knee-knock stride. Toe-tap trigger. Some bat-speed, level path through the zone, creates hand separation at foot strike.
Power: 81 max exit velocity, averaged 72.4 mph. 267’ max distance.
Arm: RH. INF - 68 mph. Short drawing action, high 3/4 slot.
Defense: Athletic actions, soft hands, fluid footwork.
Run: 8.48 runner in the 60.
Positional Profile: RHP
Delivery: Tall and fall delivery, works with tempo, stays on-line, lands square.
Arm Action: RH. Clean arm action, over-the-top slot.
FB: T72.1, 68.8-71.6 mph. Plays mostly straight, creates tilt. T1585, 1468 average rpm.
SL: 59.2-60.5 mph. 12/6 shape, short wrinkle, showed control. T1543, 1484 average rpm.
CH: 59.9-61.4 mph. Plays with arm speed, feel for the zone. T1156, 1035 average rpm.

Body: 5-9, 164-pounds.
Defense: Corner infield type, steady hands, clean exchanges.
Arm: RH. INF - 63 mph. Long arm action, over-the-top arm slot.
Hit: RHH. Balanced setup, smooth load, short stride. Aggressive swing, level bat path, long through the zone, ball jumps off the barrel, gap-to-gap approach.
