RHP Colin McMurray (Vernon Hills, 2027) showed an easy operation on the mound with a long, clean arm path out of a ¾ slot. He showed a four-pitch mix on Sunday, and his fastball sat in the low-80s, working up to 83.7 mph. McMurray’s curveball showed 11/5 shape with short depth at 71-73 mph, and a slider with shorter, horizontal shape. He rounded out his mix with a changeup at 75-76 mph, playing mostly straight.
