Stands in an upside frame at 5-foot-11, 160-pounds with seemingly more to come. Started in left field and batted eight. Led the offense in hits, going 2-for-3 with two runs scored. One of the hits came off a low-90s arm to the pull-side. Batting from the right side of the plate, Fox showed a direct and easy swing, slightly uphill path.
RHP/SS Connor Fox (Mt. Zion, 2027) stands in a lean 5-foot-11, 152-pound frame with projection still to come. He's an athletic mover down the mound with a compact arm path out of a high 3/4 slot. Fox's fastball sat in the low-80s, and topped out at 84.8 mph with sink at times. He spun a slider that induced swing-and-miss, playing with short horizontal actions. He rounded out his aresenal with a change-up that played with arm-side fade and tunneled effectively off of the fastball. Intriguing arm to monitor.

An athletic 6-foot-0, 155-pound frame, Fox (Mt. Zion, 2027) was dominant on the mound for Wow Factor Illinois this Sunday. The right-hander collected three strikeouts and allowed only one hit. His fastball sat 81-83 mph with a slider sitting 70-74 mph. The fastball had life out of the hand, paired with a sharp gyro slider. Both pitches had hitters guessing, leaving them frozen at the plate. Fox showed extreme repeatability able to hit spots on command. With a fluid motion and a clean quick arm action, Fox was able to get easy velocity. This right-handed pitcher will be a name to watch on the mound as he continues a strong summer.
