Uncommitted. 5-foot-10, 181-pound frame. Came out of the ‘pen and threw it well for the Broncos, going two innings to earn the save with four strikeouts against one walk, scattering two hits with one earned run. The southpaw worked in the zone at 80-83 mph, showing some sink and heaviness to the fastball which was able to induce ground balls. Went to a sharp 1/7 curveball with big breaking action for his secondary, could land for strikes.
Positional Profile: LHP
Body: 5-10, 181.2-pounds. Durable frame with strength in the lower-half.
Delivery: Controlled delivery, high leg lift with tuck, slight drop/drive down the mound.
Arm Action: LH. Long, loose arm action from a high 3/4 slot.
FB: T82, 81-82 mph. Clean out of hand, slight arm-side run. T2408, 2242 average rpm.
CB: 70-72 mph. 11/5 shape, presets CB in glove, gets a slurve-type action. T2555, 2478 average rpm.
CH: 76-78 mph. Plays with sink. T2014, 2002 average rpm.
+ LHP Dylan Ignacek (Barrington, 2026) is an arm to follow in Illinois’ 2026 class. A clean mover on the mound, Ignacek showed the ability to control his arsenal during his ‘pen. His fastball worked up to 82 mph (avg. 2340 RPM), and he spun a sharp breaking ball at 68-70 mph, with quality spin (avg. 2566 RPM) and shape that he landed for strikes throughout. He also mixed in a changeup (76-78 mph) with feel. There’s plenty of intrigue in the fluid mover with seemingly still more velocity to come. A follow moving forward.

LHP Dylan Ignacek (Barrington, 2026) didn't wow with his velocity on the day but he is a clean mover with a polished repertoire. He has a clean, long arm, fastball that topped at 79 mph with two above-average offspeed offerings. Pitchability left-hander who ould not be a surprise to his velocity jump in the near future.
