RHP Finnley Gregoire (Plainfield Central, 2027) is an athletic prospect to follow from the day. He caught our eye early in the day with a 6.92 in the 60-yard dash, and his 6-foot-1, 161-pound frame still has plenty of room to fill out in the coming years. On the mound, the right-hander gives a tough look from a true sidearm slot, delivering a heavy sinking fastball in the 78-81 mph range for strikes. To pair off the fastball he went to a true sweeper type breaking ball with feel to locate for strikes, playing well off the fastball at 64-68 mph. To round out his arsenal he went to a hard running changeup with deceptive arm-speed and feel for his glove-side, 67-69 mph.
