A young outfielder to know is Mason Marable (Brother Rice, 2028). There’s plenty more strength to dream on in his 5-foot-11, 166-pound frame, and his high-waisted build indicates more growth still to come. At the plate, the right-handed hitter showed quick hands with some strength at impact, working uphill with intent to lift, reaching up to 90 mph for his peak EV. He was also able to create above-average bat-speed in his operation, averaging 70 mph and maxing out at 74 mph. He’s a clean mover in the outfield with fluid footwork and confident hands, pairing with a clean/whippy arm that was up to 82 mph from a crowhop.
OF Peyton Globke (Lincoln-Way West, 2026) is a switch-hitter who impressed with consistent swing mechanics from both sides of the plate. He posted a max exit velocity of 91.9 mph, averaging 85.8 mph with a max distance of 346 feet, displaying controlled intent and impact.

1B Connor Ryan (Lockport, 2026) gave a strong all-around look over the course of his workout. He has a projectable, long-levered 6-foot, 159-pound frame with room to add strength. At the plate, the right-handed hitter showed an uphill path with strong hands and intent to elevate up the middle of the field. He’s a smooth defender around the first base bag with fluid footwork and soft hands, showing feel for the position. He’s also an above-average athlete, running to a 6.90 in the 60.
Another follow from Hinsdale Central’s 2028 class is INF Matthew Drew. Drew looked to have some upside at the plate with a smooth and whippy swing, staying on-plane through the zone with easy effort. He also looks to be an above-average defender with smooth glove-to-hand actions and fluid footwork, moving athletically with some feel for the position.
INF Charlie Zebig (Marmion Academy, 2026) had a quality round of BP. An athletic 5-foot-10, 156-pounds, the left-handed hitter showed a direct and quick bat path that kept the ball on a line to the middle/pull-side. He reached a max exit velocity of 88.7 mph, and a max distance of 327 feet.
INF Grey Ernat (Lasalle-Peru, 2027) is yet another young prospect with a high ceiling to note from the day. Listed at a lean and projectable 5-foot-10, 152-pounds, the right-handed hitter worked with a slightly uphill path and fluid operation, creating some jump off the barrel at times. He took a quality round of defense on the infield, showing steady hands with the ability to play on the move, natural instincts and actions with some feel for the position.
INF Colton Carli (Providence Catholic, 2027) is a name to know thanks to his purposeful round of BP. The right-handed hitter showed a polished approach and clear effort to work the middle of the field throughout his round, staying through the zone a long time with his path and remaining on time. He’s an athletic mover on the infield with smooth hands, moving laterally with ease and displaying clean transfers. He has a quality arm across the diamond from a high ¾ window, reaching up to 82 mph.
CIF Nicholas Seaman (Sandburg, 2026) stands out with his 6-foot-2, 170-pound frame, showing plenty of room to fill out in the coming years. The right-handed hitter gave an impressive look at the plate, working with a loose, level path that works to keep the ball on a line, simple/easy operation with a hitterish look, reaching up to 91 mph for his peak EV with a max distance of 347’. Steady defender on the infield with a quick transfer, hands work out front.
INF/OF Oliver Gibson (Downers Grove North, 2027) put together a loud round of BP on the day. The right-handed hitter showed a shorter and compact path to the baseball with some strength at impact, working consistently on the barrel throughout his round with a max EV of 95.2 mph. He’s able to create impressive force through a tight turn in his operation, averaging 17.2 G of rotational acceleration throughout his round (T22.2 G). In the outfield, Gibson showed steady actions with hands that work to secure the ball out front.
An uncommitted infielder to know is Ryan Keener (Minooka, 2026). He has a more compact frame, but he’s able to create some jump off the barrel with a 91.2 mph peak EV, showing quick hands through the zone with a flatter path that works slightly uphill at times, consistently working on the barrel throughout his round. On the infield, Keener showed some pre-pitch rhythm in his feet and sure-handed actions, pairing with a clean transfer and quality arm across (T82 mph).
Two-Ways
RHP/INF Lincoln Boersma (Providence Catholic, 2027) impressed with his long-levered athletic frame at 6-foot, 180-pounds, showing plenty of room for added strength. His fluid and athletic movement on the mound stood out. The fastball came out clean and easy, sitting 85-86 mph, and topping out at 86.7 mph. His slider (71-73 mph) was his most effective secondary offering, showing sharp shape, while he also landed a curveball (69-70 mph) and changeup (76-77 mph) for strikes. With his combination of athleticism and pitchability, Boersma is a high-follow arm heading into the spring and summer. He also swung it well at the event; showing an easy, flat path, paired with a line drive approach from the right side.

LHP/OF Josh Ouimette (Carmel Catholic, 2028) was one of the biggest winners of the day, as the L/L two-way put together a polished bullpen session. The 5-foot-9, 183-pound southpaw was sitting 81-84 mph (T85) with ride and run traits on his fastball. Ouimette then rounded out his three-pitch mix with a deceptive changeup featuring heavy fade and a sharp curveball with depth. Offensively, he was just as impressive—one of the top bats at the event. He showed quick hands, a relaxed approach, and a swing that naturally created backspin. He posted the second-highest peak bat speed (79.8 mph), led the event in line drive percentage (82%) and tied for the event high in outfield velocity, peaking at 87 mph.

Another intriguing two-way prospect, UTL/RHP Colton Francisco (Minooka, 2028) is a left-handed hitter with advanced feel to hit. The 5-foot-9, 153-pound prospect posted a max exit velocity of 90.5 mph, averaging 87.7 mph throughout his round. He then hopped on the bump and displayed a strong feel for both his fastball and his changeup. He ran the fastball up to 80 mph with run for strikes (86%). He maintained arm-speed on the changeup at 68-69 mph with sinking action that killed spin.
LHP/OF Aidan Barrera (Sandburg, 2026) may have a smaller frame (5-foot-6, 138 pounds), but he showed confidence and pitchability on the mound. His fastball sat 80-82 mph, and he showed advanced feel for a four-pitch mix, including a curveball (67-69 mph), slider (67-71 mph), and changeup (70-73 mph)—all of which he threw for strikes. Barrera’s ability to control multiple offerings makes him a follow, and as he continues to develop physically, he has the potential to carve out a role at the next level. Barrera also impressed with the bat; showing a loose and level bat path, while having a feel to work on the barrel.
RHP Griffin Dobberstein (Ottawa Marquette, 2027) is an athletic mover on the mound with a projectable frame at 5-foot-9, 160 pounds. A two-way talent, he played on the infield in the 1A State Tournament enroute to the Crusader’s 1A State Title, further showcasing his athleticism. His fastball sat in the low-80s, T81.8 mph, with a curveball (67-68 mph) and changeup (73-74 mph) as secondary offerings. While the velocity isn’t there yet, his clean movement and overall athleticism suggest more is in the tank as he continues to develop. A name to watch in-game this spring and summer. On the other side of the ball, the right-handed hitter showed a whippy barrel and operation, working to stay up the middle of the field, upside swing, reaching up to 91 mph for his EV.
One of the better all-around looks on the day came from INF/RHP Casey Mikrut (Lincoln-Way East, 2027). He has an athletic build with some present strength and round shoulders, standing in at 5-foot-8, 173-pounds. He got his day started with a 6.99 in the 60, and his athleticism easily transferred to the infield where he showed sure-handed actions and fluid footwork. At the plate, the right-handed hitter showed quick/strong hands with a flat path, working to stay on top of the baseball and to his pull-side, reaching up to 93 mph for his EV. On the mound, the right-hander has a compact and athletic delivery, working in-line with a square and balanced finish. His arm is also plenty clean and plays from a high ¾ window. His fastball sat around 85-86 mph, flashing hard life to his arm-side at times and setting up his curveball with similar arm-speed, 71-72 mph with 11/5 shape. He showed some feel for his changeup, sitting right at 75-76 mph with slight fading action.
Mikrut have an arguably even better look on the mound.

OF/RHP Caleb Mease (Wheaton-Warrenville South, 2028) is a young two-way player to follow from the day. There’s some present strength in his 5-foot-10, 183-pound frame, and the right-handed hitter was on the barrel with some loud contact throughout his round, looking to elevate to the pull-side with a max EV of 97 mph and max distance of 351’. He also gave an intriguing look on the mound, working his fastball up to 81 mph to pair with a curveball and changeup in the mid-60s.
Pitchers
RHP Andrew Evans (St. Charles East, 2027) impressed with an easy operation throughout our look. Working from a tall and simple delivery, Evans remains athletic and in-line with a balanced finish. His arm plays from a short draw out of the glove into a high ¾ release, creating arm-speed out front. His fastball played with efficient spin and a steep angle at 81-82 mph, playing with some ride and late arm-side life. His slider looks to be a potential out-pitch, flashing above-average sweeper action in the 71-72 mph range. Lastly, his changeup is an above-average third offering, mimicking his fastball’s shape and intent, 75-76 mph.
RHP Patrick Mayhugh (Lincoln-Way Central, 2027) has a strong 5-foot-11, 190-pound frame and moves easily on the mound with a clean, low-effort delivery. His fastball sat 82-84 mph, T85.1, T20.2 inches of IVB, showing carry through the zone. His slider (74-75 mph) is developing, and he also mixed in a splitter (73-77 mph) with low spin. With his clean arm action and efficient movement, Mayhugh is a name to follow as his off-speed arsenal continues to sharpen.
Two freshmen to follow are RHP Christian Drye (Nazareth) and RHP Josh Ramos (Providence Catholic).
Drye is a projectable young arm with a 5-foot-11, 159-pound frame and a smooth, easy delivery. He moves well down the mound, showing a fastball that sat 81-83 mph. His slider (75-77 mph) showed short, horizontal movement, and his mid-70s changeup, showed fade down in the zone with 19.3 inches of average horizontal movement.
Ramos stands in a more physically imposing 6-foot-1, 187-pound frame. He showed a minimal effort delivery with clean actions on the mound. With most prospects his age, he still has plenty of room for development, but the frame and movement patterns on the mound make him a name-to-follow in the class moving forward.
RHP Tyler Bartley (Lincoln-Way West, 2025; Rock Valley JC commit) has a strong, athletic frame at 6-foot, 198-pounds. He showed a lively bullpen in this look, throwing his fastball in the mid-to-upper-80s, topping out at 87.4 mph with ride through the zone and quality spin (avg. 2409 rpm). His curveball sat in the low-70s and averaged 2462 rpm, playing with 11/5 shape, and he rounded out his mix with a mid-70s change-up.
RHP Vince Yario (Bartlett, 2026) is an uncommitted arm that made his Prep Baseball event debut this past Monday. He worked out of a stretch-only delivery, showing a fastball that sat 83-84 mph, topping out at 84.8 mph while averaging 2454 rpm and 22.2 inches of horizontal movement. He produced quality fade on his upper-70s change-up, averaging 17.4 inches of horizontal movement. He mixed in both a slider and curveball, both playing with similar shape and quality spin. The slider averaged 2728 rpm, and his curveball averaged 2906 rpm, both event bests. Yario will be an arm to follow this spring and beyond.
RHP Blake Sweda (Naperville Central, 2026) gave an intriguing look throughout his ‘pen. His fastball looked to be his best offering, playing around 81-83 mph with carry traits, and he was also able to sink it at times with his two-seamer with heavy arm-side action. He showed feel for his curveball at 69-70 mph, playing with short downer shape. His changeup has developing feel but he maintains arm-speed and creates fade/run, 72-75 mph.
A freshman with notable arm-strength to mention is RHP Ryan Harris (Lincoln-Way East, 2028). He’s an athletic mover down the mound while working with some pace, and his arm plays from a shorter draw with arm-speed out front. The right-hander worked his fastball in the 78-79 mph range, topping out at 80 mph with carry and finish through the zone, cutting occasionally. His curveball is a quality secondary offering with feel to land for strikes, showing sharp 11/5 action with depth. His changeup looks to be a deceptive third pitch to help fill out his arsenal, working mostly straight through the zone but selling the pitch with arm-speed, 73-74 mph.
RHP Milan Bansal (Hinsdale Central, 2028) is a long-levered right-hander to keep tabs on moving forward. He stands in at 6-foot, 175-pounds, and he likely still has plenty more growing to do. On the mound, Bansal has a deliberate tempo while working in-line with the plate and balanced throughout. His arm is long and clean throughout its’ path, playing from a loose and easy ¾ window. His fastball played around 76-79 mph with straight four-seam action, and it projects as an even better pitch down the road as he refines its’ spin and shape. His slider looks to have the makings of a potential out-pitch in the future, showing short, downer action at 72-74 mph. His changeup is a quality third offering with arm-side run, thrown with intent at 75-76 mph.
An upside right-hander to know from the day is RHP Brendan Carlson (Providence Catholic, 2027). He has a projectable frame with plenty of room to fill out in the coming years, standing in at 6-foot-2, 188-pounds with sloped shoulders and a high waist. The right-hander has an easy tall/fall delivery that he can repeat while staying balanced, also showing a loose and clean arm from a high ¾ slot. His fastball cruised right at 79-80 mph, working with straight four-seam action and feel for the bottom of the zone. His curveball played around 67-68 mph, showing 11/5 shape and depth at times - while his changeup played at 71-72 mph with slight fading action.
RHP Finnley Gregoire (Plainfield Central, 2027) is an athletic prospect to follow from the day. He caught our eye early in the day with a 6.92 in the 60-yard dash, and his 6-foot-1, 161-pound frame still has plenty of room to fill out in the coming years. On the mound, the right-hander gives a tough look from a true sidearm slot, delivering a heavy sinking fastball in the 78-81 mph range for strikes. To pair off the fastball he went to a true sweeper type breaking ball with feel to locate for strikes, playing well off the fastball at 64-68 mph. To round out his arsenal he went to a hard running changeup with deceptive arm-speed and feel for his glove-side, 67-69 mph.
RHP Shea Leahy (Brother Rice, 2026) is a physical right-hander that gave a loud look on Monday. Standing in at 6-foot-2, 235-pounds, Leahy has present strength in his build with broad shoulders and a barrel chest. He has impressive arm-strength with a fastball up to 88 mph, cruising in the 87-88 mph range with some carry through the zone. His splitter looks to be his best secondary with downer action, playing around the zone and selling the offering with arm-speed. The curveball has developing spin and feel, sitting 72-75 mph with 11/5 shape.
Another physical right-hander to note from the day is RHP Ethan Groenendal (Lockport, 2026). Standing in at a broad-shouldered 6-foot-4, 203-pounds, Groenendal has some lean strength throughout his build with likely more to come. On the mound, he works with some pace with an athletic delivery that stays in-line, pairing with a quick arm that plays with a high ¾ release. The fastball played with mostly straight four-seam action, flashing sink at times in the 85-87 mph range. His curveball had some slurve action to it, playing at 67-69 mph with gradual break. His final offering was a splitter that he threw with fastball intent, showing downer action at 80-81 mph.
RHP John Skordas (Stagg, 2026) stood out in his ‘pen with a dynamic arsenal. The fastball showed some life in the 84-85 mph range, playing with heavy arm-side run, reaching over 18” at times. The slider looks to have true wipeout potential with over 17” of break at its’ peak, reaching nearly 2,500 RPM at 76-77 mph. To fill out his repertoire, he went to a changeup at 80-81 mph, playing similar to the fastball with heavy arm-side run/fade and feel for the zone, reaching over 20” of run on his best ones.
