LHP/1B/OF Hayden Adamowicz (Schaumburg, 2027) fresh off his strong outing at the Future Games, Adamowicz topped out at 88 mph from the left-side. Simple, fluid delivery with a high coiled leg lift into a tall-and-fall delivery starting closed off landing directionally. Long, fluid arm-action out of a low ¾ slot. Relied heavily on a combination of a fastball/changeup while mixing in a big breaking ball. Fastball sat 84-88 with life out of the hand. Changeup sat 69-71 with depth and ASR (avg. 4.4 IVB and -16.4 HM). Mixed in a breaking ball at 63 mph with slurve shape and depth. Would also continue to show a physical left-handed bat, taking a quality round of batting practice in which he produced a max exit velocity of 97.4 mph, an average of 92.4 mph, and a max distance of 374 feet. A short and direct swing, Adamowicz showed a present feel for the barrel that would also show up in gameplay. Strong 6-foot, 224-pound frame.

A recent standout at the Big Ro Memorial, Adamowicz would continue to cement himself as one of the better two-way prospects in the continuously emerging Illinois 2027 class. At the plate, despite limited results would show an intriguing loft-based left-handed bat with evident strength and a controlled aggressive approach. On the mound, Adamowicz would get the start during Sparks’ Saturday evening start, allowing no hits across five innings of work in which he would collect six strikeouts. Showing a three-pitch mix, Adamowicz would show an arm-side heavy fastball that was up to 89 mph along with a low-80s changeup and low-70s breaking ball that generated consistent swing-and-miss throughout his outing. Strong 6-foot-1, 190-pound frame with the makings of a starter at the next level.
FROM 2025 FUTURE GAMES:
OF Hayden Adamowicz (Schaumburg) is the final two-way we have on Team Illinois, and he looked the part in BP with a simple and strong left-handed swing. He peaked at 98.5 mph for his EV, averaging 94.5 mph with a max distance of 365’, using the middle of the field for a majority of his round. Strong, durable 6-foot, 225-pound frame that will also be intriguing on the mound. PITCHING: On the other side of the ball, the southpaw threw it well over his two innings of work, not allowing a run or hit while striking out four. He delivers his arsenal from a deceptive window and lower ¾ slot, sitting 85-86 mph with the fastball. He also went to a curveball at 65-66 mph with 1/7 shape and fading changeup at 73 mph.
Uncommitted. Currently ranked No. 19 in the state. Physical 6-foot-1, 190-pound frame, round shoulders with proportionate strength throughout. The left-handed hitter didn’t have anything to show for on the day but his at-bats were still impressive, showing easy bat-speed with minimal chase or swing/miss. Looks to be a high-level bat in the state.
Built at a large 6-foot-1, 190-pound frame, Adamowicz emerged as a name to follow over the next few years. Playing up a year, Adamowicz sat 76-80 mph (T81 mph) with his fastball that he was effectively wild with. He also flashed feel for a 1/7 breaking ball. Adamowicz seems to be a step ahead of the rest of the people in his class, and despite being raw he is a name to know in Illinois’ 2027 class.
