INF JT Augustyniak (Plainfield Central) had a loud showing with the bat both in the workout and during gameplay at the event. Augustyniak showed a loose, easy swing that could elevate to all parts of the field during batting practice - reaching a max exit velocity of 91.8 mph, paired with a max distance of 344 feet. His ability to find the barrel translated into gameplay where he barreled the baseball up consistently, tallying three hits.
Positional Profile: SS/2B
Body: 5-9, 187-pounds.
Hit: RHH. Slightly crouched open setup, quiet hands load, short stride works back to even, linear lower-half. Loose, easy, leverage out front, elevates, whole field approach. 67.9 mph bat speed with 10 G’s of rotational acceleration. Finished gameplay 3-for-4 with a run scored and a walk.
Power: 92 max exit velocity, averaged 84 mph. 344’ max distance.
Arm: RH. INF - 81 mph. 3/4 slot, fluid action.
Defense: Soft hands, deliberate footwork, fluid through the ball, natural actions.

Uncommitted, 5-foot-7, 170-pound, well-proportioned, athletic build. Right-handed hitter, started at shortstop and hit in the two-hole. Crouched, slightly open setup, active pre-pitch hands and toe-tap stride, working back to square. Stays direct to the baseball, athletic hands and works gap-to-gap. Defensively, made multiple high-quality plays to the glove side and showed the ability to throw and complete the play on the move. Athletic, clean footwork, plays with rhythm, sure steady hands. A 2025 to follow moving forward.
INF JT Augustyniak (Plainfield Central, 2025) was another natural on the infield with confident, clean actions. Augustyniak plays from the ground up with soft hands that play out front. He also turned a crisp, mature double play and was natural on the run-thru/body control play with a clean arm that played true at 80 mph across the diamond. The right handed hitter also ran a 7.26 60 and gets some leverage out of his size, registering a 90.9 mph peak exit velocity.

Defense: Smooth defender, soft hands, plays with body control and feel. Advanced easy double play turn.
Run: 7.26 runner in the 60.
Compact, athletic build; lead-off type profile. Right-handed hitter, patient approach; simple, loose swing. Doubled twice in his team’s comeback win against Top Tier Michigan on Saturday afternoon during the PBR at The Rock Championships.
