One of the top 2027s in the state, RHP Liam Nash (Westminster Christian, 2027) looked just that on Saturday. Currently ranked No. 23 in the state, the 6-foot-2, 201-pound right-hander showed an advanced feel for four pitches, starting with his four-seam fastball that lived at 88 mph throughout the ‘pen, showing hop and jump through the zone for strikes. He featured both a curveball and a slider, with the CB landing for strikes in the 73-74 mph range with short, tight 11/5 shape, and the slider acting more lateral with tight 10/4 bite, 75-76 mph. His final offering was a sinker with hard running action, 82-84 mph, almost acted like a firm changeup. Starter profile, definite high-follow.
Positional Profile: RHP/RHP
Body: 6-1, 192-pounds. Strong, developing frame.
Delivery: Quick tempo, high leg lift, loose and athletic down mound, extends fully over front side.
Arm Action: RH. Quick and compact, loose, low 3/4 slot.
FB: T88, 88-88 mph. Lively pitch with jump and hop through the zone. T2148, 2100 average rpm.

RHP Liam Nash (WestMinster Christian) gave a highly impressive look over his two innings of work, striking out five along the way. The 6-foot-1, 192-pound right-hander displayed well above-average arm-strength for his age, sitting in the 85-87 mph range throughout his outing while showing the ability to control the zone, especially the upper quadrant. His go-to secondary was his slider that played in the low-70s with sharp 10/4 bite and feel to land for strikes. High-follow arm.

RHP Liam Nash (Westminster, 2027) is an athletic 6-foot-1, 185-pound right hander with a controlled motion, loose ¾ arm slot, long arm swing, and repeatable delivery from the windup and stretch. Showed consistent control of his breaking pitches, including a 2/8 curveball sitting from 65-67 mph and a tight slider also at 65-67 mph. Changeup has potential for growth, showing slight arm-side run at 63-68 mph. Fastball sat from 80-85 mph. Velocity spiked as his bullpen progressed, presenting no significant dip.

RHP Liam Nash (Westminster Christian, 2027) was a key force for Next Level, assisting in their deep playoff push. The right-hander’s first outing came on Saturday against a tough Hitters lineup, where he fired four innings with one earned run and four strikeouts. The following day, Nash toed the rubber once again in the semi-finals, this time firing seven innings of three-hit ball with no earned runs and 11 strikeouts. The 5-foot-10, 170-pound right-hander ran his fastball up to 75 mph, cruising comfortably in the low-70s with an effective curveball to pair, keeping hitters off-balance.
