Standing in a lanky 6-foot-2, 170-pounds, RHP/3B Logan Boggs (Libertyville, 2028) would show a developing two-way profile to follow within the state’s rising sophomore class. On the mound showed a balanced delivery with tall-and-fall mechanics while working from a compact over-the-top arm slot. The fastball would get up to 80 mph with some ride, and was thrown alongside a 66-67 mph curveball with 12/6 shape. Also showed a 68-69 mph changeup that he consistently threw with fastball intent. At the plate showed a line-drive oriented right-handed swing to pair with a gap-to-gap approach and developing barrel strength. Defensively showed clean movements on the dirt with athleticism that played up.
